2017 was the year of the total solar eclipse that spanned the entire USA. To celebrate this super rare event I made an eclipse cuff bracelet. On the outer layer of the cuff are the phases of the moon passing in front of the sun; on in the inside you will find every state that was in the solar eclipse’s “path of totality” and the date of the eclipse, August 21, 2017. I’ve made this bracelet thick for long lasting strength.
This is an heirloom souvenir that you can pass on to your children or nieces and nephews to commemorate this cool once in a lifetime event.
States that were in the “path of totality” for the solar eclipse of 2017: Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina.
A note about bronze: Bronze is a beautiful and warm metal, I love it. It is the root of the Bronze Age’s (3000 BC!) technological advances and contributed to the beginning of writing (heiroglyphs! cuneiforms!). But bronze does darken/tarnish over time and if you want it to stay shiny you will have to maintain it with a polishing cloth or cream but you might find that you prefer the darkened look.
