Amethyst Pansy Ring

Description

I love seeing pretty pansies in the garden. This ring is a one-of-a-kind pansy with an amethyst set into its petals. It is a sculptural ring that I originally carved in wax and then cast in silver. The amethyst is star set; I use a sharp engraving tool and push rays of silver to hold the stone into place. I am working on the collection of flower rings and the pansy will be among them but this particular pansy ring the first pansy and will remain one-of-a-kind because I did not make a mold of it won’t be duplicated. The pansy is medium/large and about 3/4 inch in diameter.
