To create these earrings, I sliced and polished a rough California jade stone very thin because I knew it would create a stained glass effect when held to the light. Then I added a flourish of hammered silver for a glittering attachment to the earring wire. This special jade was mined in Mendocino County, in northern California. It is a translucent pale green and white color with veins of darker green and dots of black.
These are large earrings but lightweight and comfortable to wear. Approximately 2 inches long.
