Equinox Sun Necklace

Description

I made this on the summer/fall equinox. The equinox happens twice a year and it is when there are equal amounts day and night. I like to think about the sun and moon’s rotations around the earth, the light they spread, and their effects on our natural environments.

I made this necklace in the shape of a half sun with sun rays radiating from the center. The surfaces are hammered so they glitter. This pendant comes on an 18 inch cable chain.
