This pendant has a wonderful multi-toned swirling of green. I carved the jade very thin because I knew it would create a stained glass effect when held to the light. To finish it, I added a flourish of silver that recalls a shell, and adds a glittering attachment to the silver chain. This special jade was mined in Mendocino County, in northern California. It is a translucent pale green and white color with veins of darker green and dots of black.
Approximately 1/2 inch in diameter on 18″ silver chain.
