This pendant is a narrow oval of pale and dark green Mendocino jade. I sourced the rough jade locally and carved it in my studio. To finish it, I added an accent of hammered silver that adds a glittering attachment to the silver chain. This special jade was found in Mendocino County, in northern California. It is a translucent pale green and white color with veins of darker green and dots of black.
