This jade is from Mendocino County, Ca. and I carved it in my studio. I began with a very large rough chunk that I sawed and sliced with diamond saws. Then I cut a loose shape that I take to my carving wheels and sculpt into this domed oval.
It feel great to wear, it is a solid powerful stone atop a wide silver ring band made of 5 hammered silver lines.
