Custom jade and elk antler inlay ring. A wedding ring for a customer who found the antler with his wife while hiking in Wyoming. The jade is also sourced from Wyoming. I cut the antler down and then into a tiny rectangle (see previous post to see the stones). Colorful rocks slabs from the @larry.spring.museum I am going to experiment with these for some one of a kind jewelry. These are part of the museum’s lapidary collections and if you’ve never stopped in to see their stones and the rock dinner party installation you should put it on your list. Super glamour power ring that I custom made for a fellow artist @shannongeis Shannon had these two extra large flashy labradorite gems and hired me to make a matching ring and necklace. The ring has a 14k gold bezel set on a split silver ring with dragon scales. I also stamped the dragon scales into the silver pendant. Labradorite is a magical stone, it naturally refracts multiple colors because its layered crystal growth.
