I carved a half moon from beautiful green jade that was found in the Rocky Mountain state of Wyoming. Wyoming is known for outstanding jade and this is definitely a piece of that reputation. The green has a few pale white snowflakes within it. I have set this gem in a simple setting on top of a tapered and hammered silver ring band. The stone is approx 5/8″ long, and the ring band tapers from 8mm to 4mm. Ring is size 7 1/2.
