Mendocino Jade Drop Earrings

Description

This pair of earrings features two flat drops of translucent jade that was found in Mendocino County, California. The jade has a green and white swirling pattern with spots of black. I bought the rough stone from a rock hound and then cut and polished the jade in my studio; I like to make it thin so that it shows off the translucency of the jade. I custom made a silver rivet to attach the drops to hammered flourishes of silver.

Medium sized earrings, jade drop is approximately 3/4 x 1″.
