Mendocino Jade Sculpted Fan

Description

I sculpted an asymmetric fan shape for this unusual pendant of Mendocino jade. I sourced the rough jade locally and carved it in my studio. To finish it, I added an accent of hammered silver that adds a glittering attachment to the silver chain. This special jade was found in Mendocino County, in northern California. It is a translucent pale green and white color with veins of darker green and dots of black.

Approximately 1 1/4 inch long on 18″ sterling silver chain.
