Swirling Drop Mendocino Jade Ring

Description

This is a drop of green and white swirled Mendocino jade. I custom made a triple band of hammered silver lines that spread apart at the top to hold the stone. I carve the jade in my studio and each piece comes out totally unique. This jade is from Mendocino County, Ca, I began with a rough chunk that I carve into a sculptural shape, and then I custom make the setting and ring. This ring band is tapered, wide on top tapering to about 5mm in back. Stone is approximately 1/2″ long. Size 9.
