Mendocino Jade Big Oval Swirls Ring

I carved a nice big oval of Mendocino jade for this ring, there are two distinct dark green swirls travelling across the lighter green/white body, and there is a speck of black. I have set this stone on a custom made hammered ring band that I split apart so that it holds the stone comfortably and adds silver accent to your finger.

I carve the jade in my studio and each piece comes out totally unique. This jade is from Mendocino County, Ca, I began with a rough chunk that I carve into a sculptural shape, and then I custom make the setting and ring. This ring band is tapered, wide on top tapering to about 5mm in back. Stone is approximately 3/4″ long. Size 9.
