Mendocino Jade Earrings – Small Leaf

Description

Two small pointed leaf shapes of Mendocino jade dangle from custom silver flourishes. They are translucent, swirled green jade that was found in Mendocino County, California. The jade is a mix of dark and medium green and has white veins and spots of black. I started with the rough jade stone and then cut and polished it in my studio; I like to make it thin so that it shows off the translucency of the jade. These jade shapes are approximately 1/2″ long.
