And it still is snowing…

Written April 22, 2013

So, living in Wyoming means about 8 months of winter. The snow is coming down heavily today, April 22.  But after living here over a decade I’m finally used to it.  Anyway to get through this time of year I often do indoor projects, this weekend I decided to devote my craft skills to making a new skirt. (those are my gas tanks for soldering in the background).

In the shop I’ve been busy…I recently made a Rose Window Necklace which some say look like snowflakes. I have made earrings and necklaces each with these hand sawn one-of-a-kind circles.  They are inspired by beautiful Gothic cathedrals’ rose windows. Contact me if you would like me to e-mail once more are available isabel @ isabeljewelry.com

Another recent project is this gorgeous rainbow moonstone ring with turquoise. The moonstone is clear yet has a super irridescent flash, really a pretty stone. It is available for sale here: http://www.isabeljewelry.com/products/magic-irridescent-rainbow-moonstone-ring

Speaking of magical gemstone flash, I custom made a fun pair of earrings last week. The customer had bought the opal in Australia 20 years ago and finally wanted it set in asymetrical earrings.

Springtime in Wyoming…stay busy.

Happy 2013 New Year!

Written January 5, 2013

I have taken a small break from the jewelry making to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s with my family and friends.  However I am back in town and will be diving right back into the jewelry bench.  Right before I left for the holiays I made a beautiful turquoise bracelet with 6 strands of Nevada mined turquoise with a sterling silver clasp that I recently designed.  I will be offering more bracelets with this clasp with various gemstones.
